What Kind of Information Does YUASA Collect from Me?

We may collect personal information from you, such as your name, email address, postal address,, phone number, and credit/debit card number when you place an order online or by phone, create an account with us online, contact us with a question or concern, or participate in a contest, promotion, or survey. We only store your order history and contact information. We do not store or process your credit/debit card information on our servers. We may also collect information related to your browsing history, search history and your interaction with the website or our advertisements. If you search or purchase products on our website, we may also collect information related to the product categories you are interested in and/or the types of products purchased.

Does YUASA Share or Disclose My Information?

When you place an order on yuasastudios.com or by phone, your credit/debit card information is securely transferred via Shopify payments, Paypal, or Google Pay, all of which are reputable payment processors. Your contact information is sent to our warehouse so that they can fulfill your order. We may also share your information with other third parties as necessary to provide our products to you and to help us market or advertise to you. These third parties may also use such information to allow us to analyze our customer base in order to improve the quality, variety, and availability of products and services offered and/or to enhance your experience with us. We implement written agreements with third parties like Shopify which require those third parties to protect and secure your data in accordance with this policy as well as applicable laws.

Deletion Request Rights

Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

• Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
• Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. For all requests, it is helpful to put the statement “California Privacy Rights” in the body of your request, describe the nature of your request, and provide your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. In your request, you need to provide enough information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person that we collected information about.

Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. However, we do consider requests made through your password protected account sufficiently verified when the request relates to personal information associated with that specific account.

We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.

Response Timing and Format

We will confirm receipt of a verifiable consumer request within ten (10) days and provide information about how we will process the request.

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance, specifically we will email or mail you a document that contains all personal information.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
