Sustainability & Conscious Labor Practices

At YUASA, we are committed to redefining fashion by sourcing our products with the utmost consideration for the planet.

Embracing a greener future, we curate our materials from suppliers who prioritize the environment. Our journey towards sustainability starts with a focus on sourcing organic and ethically grown fabrics that reduce the ecological footprint of our garments whenever possible. We work to select eco-friendly dyes and finishes, ensuring that our designs not only elevate your wardrobe but also honor the Earth.

Transparency is at the heart of our mission. We're proud to share the stories behind our products, from the seamstresses and tailors who craft them to the communities that benefit. We prioritize fair labor practices, supporting skilled workers and fostering a culture of respect throughout our supply chain.

We strive to minimize waste at every stage, from production to shipping. Our design process focuses on longevity and versatility, creating modernly designed menswear that contributes to a more sustainable consumption cycle.

All YUASA Factories actively participate in the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), led by the European Association for Foreign Trade (amfori). This initiative seeks to implement a unified set of procedures aimed at monitoring and promoting the social responsibility performance of companies engaged in the production of relevant products. The focus lies in the continuous improvement and development of policies.

Furthermore, our factories proudly hold the OEKO-TEX certification. When a textile article bears the STANDARD 100 label, you can rest assured that each component, from threads to buttons and other accessories, undergoes rigorous testing for harmful substances. This stringent testing ensures that the article is completely safe for human health.
