In mid-March 2023, James and I embarked on our annual trip to Mexico, seeking respite from the cold of NYC. Our itinerary typically includes spending a week in Mexico City (home to some of the best food in North America), followed by a week at Zipolite, a beach destination on the Oaxacan Coast.

Since we had visited Zipolite previously and were enamored by its relaxed atmosphere and picturesque waters, we decided to photograph our latest campaign collection there. The tranquil ambiance of Zipolite and its stunning surroundings would serve as the perfect backdrop for our shoot.

Our Spring/Summer 2023 Collection features four new prints available in our Classic Swim Brief, Classic Swim Short, Slim Swim Brief, and our latest addition, a breathable rayon resort shirt. James (my fiancé) hand-draws the prints each year. The names of the prints are Summer Dunes, Tropic Floral, and Daisy Wave.

We named the campaign "Tranquilo" after a tennis coach in Mexico City kept yelling "Tranquilo" at me during my lesson, trying to get me to calm down.
